Samasrayanam is the doorway of the sampradaya: the five sacraments — tapa, pundra, nama, mantra and yaga — through which the Acharya accepts a devotee as his own. Swamiji confers it in the unbroken line from Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya himself. It is estimated that over a million devotees have received Samasrayanam from His Holiness directly.
And true to that line, it is refused to no sincere seeker — the initiation Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya famously shouted from the temple tower rather than keep secret.
