Sunday Schedule
The best day for your first visit
Your First Sunday
Sunday is the best day to visit. Here is a simple plan so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Arrive and settle in
Park in the free lot, remove shoes at the entrance, and find a seat in the prayer hall. Volunteers will help you get oriented.
Tip: arrive 15 minutes early your first time so you can find parking and get settled.
Morning worship begins
Sankshepa Ramayanam โ an accessible retelling of the Ramayana. Just sit, listen, and take it in. No participation required.
Kids go to Prajna
Children head to Prajna class โ stories from the epics, shloka recitation, arts, and games. They will love it.
Bhog โ community meal
Everyone gathers for a free Saatvic vegetarian lunch. This is the best time to meet other families.
Meet the community
Stick around after the meal. Introduce yourself. Ask about programs, volunteering, or anything on your mind.
Frequently Asked
Do I need to be Hindu to visit?
Not at all. Our doors are open to everyone regardless of faith, background, or familiarity with Hinduism. You are welcome here exactly as you are.
I don't speak Telugu or Sanskrit. Will I understand anything?
Yes. While some prayers are in Sanskrit or Telugu, our community speaks English fluently. Priests explain rituals in English when asked, and the Sunday program includes English explanations. You will not feel lost.
What if I don't know the customs or do something wrong?
You cannot do anything wrong here. There is no judgment. Sit where you are comfortable, observe what others do, and ask questions freely. Everyone was new once.
Can I just come for the free meal?
Absolutely. Annadanam โ feeding the community โ is one of the highest forms of service in our tradition. You do not need to attend the worship service to eat. Just show up at noon on Sunday.
We Saved You a Seat
No registration required. No dress code to stress about. No need to know anyone. Just come as you are this Sunday and let us take care of the rest.
