A deeksha is a sacred undertaking — a vow of devotional discipline sustained over days or weeks, with discourse and guidance from our a:cha:rya, leading the devotee into the presence of the Lord.

The Maha: Lakshmi Deeksha is undertaken with daily upavasa, archana, and the chanting of Sri: Maha: Lakshmi Ashtottara Shata Namavali. Devotees observe sattvic discipline, offer kumkuma archana, and recite the Sri: Suktam through the period of the deeksha. The Sudarsana Deeksha is undertaken with daily japam of the Sudarsana Maha: Manthra — o:m sri sudarsana:ya hethi ra:ja:ya namaha — chanted 1,008 times each morning with sattvic discipline, entirely from home.
