His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji was born on Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, on November 3, 1956, in Arthamur Village, near Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Born to pious parents Sri Venkatacharyulu and Smt. Alivelumanga Thayaru, young Srimannarayanacharya began His early education at Gowthama Vidya Peetam, Rajahmundry, an oriental school focusing on traditional learning.
At the divine age of 23, guided by Maha Mahopadhyaya Sriman T.K. Gopalacharya Swamy, He embraced Sannyasa and took on the revered title of Jeeyar, symbolizing the fearless lion upholding truth and dharma.
Today, Swamiji is a beacon of spiritual light and compassion — a living embodiment of divinity who walks amongst us.
In 1982, Swamiji founded the Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET) in Sitanagaram, Guntur District, India. Since then, JET has grown into an international organization with branches in:
