Everyone is welcome to join the Sathapatheshti Maha Yagam! All you need is enthusiasm and a desire to deepen your spiritual connection.
Visit www.JeeyarAsramam.org to register. Volunteers are also available to provide you with your mantra and Divya Desam assignment.
It allows you to experience the divine power and profound beauty of the sacred form of the Lord—awakening your devotion and immersing you in His boundless compassion and grace.
The highest form of meditative journey takes you spiritually through all the sacred Divya Desams, beginning at Sri Rangam, culminating in the divine destination of Paramapadam, and spiritually returning to Sri Rangam—the holy center of Swami Ramanujacharya’s lineage.
108 families are receiving sacred Kalasas. Each primary family receiving the kalasa coordinates with 8 other families, each group collectively representing one Divya Desam. You are invited to become the Kalasa bearer or become part of the team. Daily, participants chant their Divya Desam mantra nine times and the assigned Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam mantra 108 times (approximately 5 mins daily), while placing at least 9 rice grains as offerings in front of the deity’s image (Perumal). This practice continues until the auspicious Sathapathesti Maha Yagam on June 21, 2025.
Again, each day, you’ll chant your assigned Divya Desam mantra at least 9 times and the designated mantra from Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam 108 times. This takes roughly 5 minutes.
It begins on Yugadi (or whenever you receive your mantra) and continues daily until the grand Maha Yagam event on June 21, 2025.
Placing a few grains of raw rice in a bowl in front of an image or statue of Perumal (Lord Vishnu) symbolizes your offering and devotion as you chant. The Perumal’s pictures of the Divya Desams are made available on the website.
Volunteers will gather the rice you’ve collected before the Maha Yagam. If volunteer pick-up isn’t feasible, please bring the rice yourself to the event. It will be cooked as prasadam shared with everyone attending.
Absolutely! When signing up, you may select a mantra and Divya Desam that resonate personally with you.
